A small family company: licensed freight brokerage and bonded cotton warehouses. Four generations of one family working from the same Elmore County, Alabama town.
Long before there was a warehouse or a gin, our great‑grandfather Wood Fuller was buying and selling cotton from wagons in Eclectic. His ad ran in the Wetumpka Herald in October of 1942: “Bring Your Cotton to Phillips & Fuller — See Wood Fuller for Best Prices.”
Wood’s son Carl Woodson Fuller came home from the Army Air Corps in 1945. In 1949, he and his wife Mavis opened Fuller Warehouse & Gin, the facility we still keep, where Carl would run the cotton gin for nearly half a century and later be honored by the Governor of Alabama for a lifetime in the trade.

We broker clean, baled cotton only: long‑standing relationships with cotton merchants on the shipping side, and carriers we know by name on the hauling side.

The gin ran from 1949 to 1997. We bought and sold cotton on our own account through many of those years, and our over‑the‑road fleet rolled from the early 1980s clear through 2024. Those chapters are quiet now. The brokerage moves what our own trucks once hauled. None of it forgotten.
